Careers
Small company, real systems, short paths.
Nobody at ainulo works on a slide that never gets built. What is made here runs at a client afterwards, and the same person keeps looking after it.
How the work goes
- 01
You see the result. No project disappears into a review loop. What you build goes live, and you find out what it changed in the operation.
- 02
Responsibility, not remit. There is no layer that decides for you. In return we expect you to be able to explain your own decisions.
- 03
We work on real operations.Stock, prices, orders, approvals. No demos, no sandboxes, no projects without users.
- 04
We say no internally too.If an approach does not hold, we stop and say why. That applies to client projects and to our own ideas.
Open roles
The descriptions are deliberately short. The rest we sort out in conversation.
Open role · Working student
Working student, operations and content
You build the weekly observation our clients read.
Every week we produce marketplace observations, research and cleaned-up data. It is precise work, it is satisfying, and it eats time. That same time is then missing from the conversations projects come out of. You take this part over and make it better than it turns out when done on the side.

What you do
- Read rankings, prices and offers on Amazon, Otto and Kaufland and condense them into one readable weekly observation
- Clean and check data sets from client projects before they go into a system
- Prepare LinkedIn posts, with figures somebody can verify
- Research and maintain company lists for outreach
What matters
- You are at home in spreadsheets and notice when a number cannot be right
- You write clear German and work comfortably with English sources
- You ask before you guess
Not for you if: You are looking for a role where every task is explained first. Here the goal is usually clear and the path is not.
Open role · Freelance
AI Solutions Engineer
You set up systems that keep running after the project.
Most AI projects end as a demo. Ours are meant to land in the working day, wired into the systems the client already runs, with their people on the approval. That is decided during setup and in the operation afterwards. This is exactly where you work.

What you do
- Set up the platform at the client and connect it to existing systems such as PlentyONE, Shopware, DATEV or marketplace interfaces
- Define rules, thresholds and approval limits with the client and implement them
- Build prompts, evaluation logic and model calls so that every recommendation has a path back to its data
- Run the operation: watch what the system proposes, find errors, sharpen it
- Write down what was set up, so a third person could take it over
What matters
- You have built interfaces inside running operations, not only in projects without users
- You work confidently with language models over an API, know their limits and check outputs instead of trusting them
- You can explain to an operations manager, without jargon, why a system proposes something
- You work on your own infrastructure and for several clients
Not for you if: You want pure development work without client contact. Here the two belong together.
How to apply
- Where
- An email to work@ainulo.com. No form, no portal, no account.
- What to include
- What you last built or owned, and what went wrong with it. A CV is enough, we do not need a cover letter.
- What is not needed
- No photo, no date of birth, no certificates at the first step.
- Response time
- Within five working days, including a no.
- Process
- A 45 minute conversation, then a small real task from our week, paid. No unpaid trial project.
What we do not offer
No large structure, no staffed HR department, no finished onboarding programme. If you are looking for a running system to slot into, this is the wrong place. If you want to help shape how the work is done, it is the right one.
